It's a shot of Batemans Bay from the center of the iconic bay bridge. Well actually that's not entirely true because it's actually 6 seperate photos that have been stitched together.

You can tell that something unusual is happening because if you look closely you'll see bits of the bridge at both sides of the photo and no obvious fish-eye distortion so clearly some magic is involved.

All the magic stems from a free product from Microsoft called Windows Live Photo Gallery which you can download from here.

Basically all you have to do is to stand in one spot and using a digital camera take several shots and add them to Live Photo Gallery . Then select all the photos in Live Photo Gallery and right click and chose the menu option Create panoramic photo.

The result will be one single wide image that is a little messy around the edges as the application has had to distort the image slightly in order to stitch everything together seamlessly.

Simply use Photo-Gallery to crop away the messy stuff and anything that isn't usefull to your shot ... and voila a little bit of bay magic.

Getting a professionally designed web site may be a lot cheaper and quicker than you think.

We can help you find a domain name to build your brand around, create a clean professional looking web site using that domain, create multiple spam protected e-mail accounts for you in that domain ... all for around $200*.

We can also do custom development, custom artwork and digital photography as needed, at a reasonable hourly rate.

* Every job is unique and priced individually, but generally we keep costs as low as possible by configuring and deploying services from Google and other online resources.
